The Spring Scrimmage has been officially moved. It will now be held from Thursday, April 4th to Sunday, April 7th at the White Horse Christian Retreat Center. The primary reason for moving it was that a number of our regulars had a conflict with the May dates. Additionally a few others were already planning on utilizing White Horse for some astronomy on the April weekend. I did ask for feedback and got very little (you gotta speak up to be heard).
I will get a reservation form out as soon as possible. Prices are basically the same as for the Deep South in the fall. Bunks will be $35 per night and rv, camper and tent prices will be the same as they were in the fall for the DSSG. We will have breakfast available at White Horse, and I would suggest the Country Diner for an afternoon meal. White Horse will do a snack bar in the evening with burgers and dogs (the ones with buns).
Weather permitting - you will be impressed with the skies from our new location.

Barry,
This is good news. I more than likely can attend on Friday and Saturday nights. I will be able to get in some viewing and Astrophotography before I attend the Texas Star Party at the end of April.
