I am going to make a call on Saturday and see if there would be any issue for those that want to go up to Feliciana Retreat Center a day early (on Wednesday). If that can be done it would mean -
1) We will only do this if the weather is looking very good for Wednesday, particularly at night.
2) Note - this would not shift meals - i.e. - if you are currently signed up for all meals from Thursday supper thru Sunday breakfast that would not change. We would not have any meals on Wednesday and we would not have Thursday morning breakfast - we would be on our on, and if you decided to stay 3 nights, let's say Wednesday thru Friday nights and leave on Saturday, you would still be paying for the meals you signed on for after your Saturday departure. I am assuming we could shift the nights if you wanted to, but I am not certain of that and can make no guarantees. Essentially you would be adding another night and paying for lodging, and you would be on your own for meals.
3) If a Wednesday arrival, no need to get there before about 3 pm. This leaves plenty of time to set up before dark. Best bet would be to buy snacks or sandwiches on your way in.
Ok, so who besides myself and Ron Marcella would be interested in doing this?

I am. I think you're right about the weather, although at least whatever comes through Saturday night shouldn't interfere with packing up Sunday morning (as of Saturday 4/7):  |
