I am attaching to this post a schematic of the Main Bldg., including the Bunk House, Bunk Rooms, Bath House and Barn. My apology for the somewhat indistinct wording but I think all that see it can get understand it. Let me know if there are any questions. East is at the top of the photo and north is to the left.
Additionally, as an incentive for registering for the DSSG now, I am designating one of the bunk rooms and possibly two (the one closest to the Game Room and then the next closest) as overflow rooms. What I mean by this is that anyone here cannot be guaranteed that they will have exclusive use of their bunk assembly. Each bunk assembly is a 3 stacker - meaning three bunks per assembly. If we hit the one per bunk assembly limit of 38 registrants in bunks, any additional registrants who want bunk space will be assigned to the rear most room at 2 per bunk, and then the room in front of this one at two per bunk assembly. That will mean that there can be two people per bunk assembly, or even three people. As of now I have 10 bunk spaces left where registrants will be absolutely guaranteed that if they are among the next 10 registrants that want bunk space, they will be guaranteed a bunk assembly all to themselves (unless they want to share a bunk assembly with someone else). The take away from all of this is - Register Now.
Also look at the photo - you will see the Bath House to the left. It has a Male Side and a Female side. Each side has 3 showers, 3 toilets and 3 wash basins. The showers on each side are private as are the toilets, the wash basins are the only things out in a common area of each room. Same holds true for the main free standing Bunk House with 7 bunk assemblies on each side of that building with the bathroom in the middle containing 3 private showers, 3 private toilets and 3 wash basins.
In the bunk room area immediately in front of the blue pickup truck that has a room with 5 bunk assemblies in one area and another room with 4 bunks, that area has 1 shower, 1 toilet and 3 wash basins. Beyond that the 1 room with 2 bunks (basically a private room - which has already been assigned) has it's own toilet and wash basin. The people here will have to go to the bath house for a shower.
The two rooms with 5 bunks each which could possibly have more than one person per bunk assembly will have to go to the bath house for shower, toilet and wash basin.
There is also a small bunk room in the main building adjacent to the Dining Hall with 3 bunks. It has a shower, toilet and wash basin. It has already been assigned.
Note the game room in the back. It has two full size pool tables, a bumper pool table and an air hockey table as well as, I think, a checker, chess game table. There is also a large tiered auditorium room in the back which I do not believe we will have a need to use, plus an Arts and Crafts Room which will be off limits.
Additionally, if any tent campers would prefer to set their tents up in the barn on the large dirt floor instead of outside - no problem, you can do that. You will have the roof you bring and the roof of the barn above your head.
Also remember with both the bunks and the bathrooms - bring your own bedding and your own towels, wash cloth, hand towel and soap. None of these will be provided. I can vouch for the bunks though, the mattresses are comfortable and I slept well both nights during the Trial Room. All rooms have heat and air.
Also remember that we will have a Snack Bar at night in the main building between 8 pm and 10 pm.
