2019 marked the last year (#51) for the Riverside Telescope Makers Conference (most recently called the Riverside Telescope Makers Expo)

The founder of the Riverside Telescope Makers Conference was Cliff Holmes. I met Cliff, along with his wife, Jackie, when they passed thru New Orleans back in 1982 or 1983 on their way to Stellafane. Some 11 to 12 years later I attended RTMC along with Mike Sandras and Frank Castagna. It was fun and well attended. Sorry to see this, one of the oldest astronomical events in the United States, come to an end.
