Well there are some pretty obvious reasons why most people go to star gazes - to observe, to visit with friends, to relax and tweak equipment, to buy someone else's used stuff and to sell some of your own.
What else, what is going on? Unlike last year we will have programs. While I know what some of them will be, I will wait and release titles and descriptions in about another 10 days to 2 weeks. Additionally we will have door prize drawings. Somewhat of a challenge as most star parties are not getting as much in the form of donations as we did in year's past. However we will have a few donations and we will have some purchased goodies too.
For those willing to do a little day traveling there are some nice destinations in the area. These include:
1) Little Grand Canyon of Mississippi (Red Bluffs)
2) Project Dribble (atomic bomb testing site less than 20 miles from White Horse)
When the days (and nights) are done, many ask - where did all the time go?
