Meals are paid for via your registration form and should be paid for in advance so that White Horse can buy enough food to meet demand and not over purchase.
Meals begin with supper on Tuesday, 11/6 at 4 pm, total of 5 suppers, Tuesday thru Saturday, all at 4 pm
The breakfast meals will begin on Wednesday, 11/7 at 9 am, total of 5 breakfasts, Wednesday thru Sunday, all at 9 am
For those that just cannot seem to get enough to eat back on MS Hwy 35, just about 150 yards north of where Hurricane Creek Road hits Hwy 35 is the Country Diner, and it is excellent. Food is served cafeteria style, as much as you want to eat. It is really good, so if you have to eat around noon, this is the place to be.
Additionally we will have a "snack bar" between 8 pm and 10 pm at White Horse. Drinks, coffee, hot chocolate, chips and maybe hot dogs, hamburgers, etc. will be available. Cash will work just fine at the "Snack Bar".
The menu for supper at White Horse is pretty much set now, there may be some tweaking, pretty much based upon head counts for each meal. From what has been discussed this is what the menu looks like right now -
Tuesday Supper - Pork roast, rice, a vegetable, roll, salad bar, a dessert (more about desserts further down this page), lemonade or tea
Wednesday Supper - Roasted lemon garlic chicken, or spaghetti and meatballs, with other side dishes/vegetables as per Tuesday menu
Thursday Supper - perhaps one of the Wednesday selections not served on Wednesday or Salisbury steak, baked potato (stuffed) with other side dishes and dessert
Friday Supper - Pasta with shrimp, vegetables, etc. as per other nights
Saturday Supper - Fried Chicken with baked macaroni, other side dishes
Desserts - during the course of our 5 suppers we should see Chantilly Cake, brownies with ice cream, bread pudding, cheese cake, peach cobbler, etc.
Breakfast meals - typical breakfast fare to include eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns, pancakes, juice, coffee, etc.
Carol has informed me that helpings will be good sized and when all meals are served, there will be additional food for those with an appetite.
